Dear ATA Family,
It is with great pleasure & excitement that we take this opportunity to invite you to the 9th annual Cox ATA “Lone Star Championship" on April 6th, 2023 in Conroe, TX.
With a convenient location that is less than 3 hours from Dallas, Austin, San Antonio & a short drive from the greater Houston area, along with a beautiful host hotel & venue, we know this is going to be an amazing event.
Come experience all the fun and excitement that happens at an ATA tournament! Novice divisions are available for all color belts students who are competing for the first time.
For your convenience, pre-registration, entry tickets, and t-shirts will be available at the tournament site "Lone Star Convention Center” starting at Friday at our host hotel.

7:00 am: Instructor and student registration open
7:30 am: MANDATORY Black Belt Meeting
(ages 13 and up, including Rec. Black Belts Competing in Black Belt Divisions)
8:00 am: OPENING CEREMONIES AND INTRODUCTIONS
8:15 am: All Special Abilities, ATA Tigers and Team Sparring Begins
*Adult Team Sparring, along with 1st-5th degree ADULTS competition will be staged throughout the day.
7:00am Instructor and Student Registration
7:30am Mandatory Black Belt Meeting
(Ages 13 and up - including Rec Black Belts competing in a Black Belt division.)
8:00am Opening Ceremonies and Introductions
8:15am All ATA Tigers, Special Abilities, &Team Sparring begin
9:30am 8 & under Color Belts, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Degree Black Belts
10:30am All 9&10 year old 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Degree Black Belts
11:30am All 9&10 year old Color Belts
12:30pm All 11&12 year old Color Belts, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Degree Black Belts
1:30pm All 13&14 year old Color Belts
2:30pm All 15-17 year old Color Belts
3:30pm All 18 & Up Color Belts
*Adult Team Sparring, along with 1st-5th degree ADULTS competition will be staged throughout the day.
RING ASSIGNMENTS
Ring 20-22: TIGERS White, Orange & Yellow Belt
Ring 19: TIGERS Camo, Green and Purple Belt
Ring 18: TIGERS Blue, Brown, and Red Belt
Ring 14-17: Executive Team Sparring (50+ Years) / Bantam Team Sparring (10yr & Under) Ring 13: Special Abilities
Ring 9 - 12: Legends (40+ Years) / Rookie Team Sparring (12yr & Under)
Ring 5 - 8: Elite (18+ Years) / Jr. Varsity Team Sparring 14yr & Under
Ring 1- 4: Premier (30+ Years) / Varsity Team Sparring 17yr & Under
Team Combat Weapons and Traditional Sparring: $75 per team, per event.
Teams must email the roster to masterh@murphyata.com by 8 AM 4/3/24 to register.
**13 yr old and above Black Belts will be called throughout the day**
**The times above are not competition times. These divisions can be called any time after the listed time for each rank**
All ATA Tigers, Color Belts, and Black Belts, please be on-site and in the main competition area no later than the times listed below. These times apply for male, female, Champion, and Recreational divisions.

Region 112 students: Please pre-register with your instructor. Out of Region competitors may register upon arrival.
Spectators' Fees are $10.00 per spectator. (4 and under FREE)
